After the results of the legislative election announced on September 9th, the Swedish far right represented by Sweden Democrats (SD) scored well below expectations. The SD, characterized by its openly nationalist and anti-immigration agenda, won 17.6% of the vote. In spite of a consequent increase, the party is not able to impose itself as a real opposition figure and still remains the « persona non grata » of the Swedish political landscape.
