The Poutine’s number one opponent saga continue, after being arrested (for defamation) right after getting out of prison last october 15th, today, and for the very first time, Alexeï Navalny was literally prohibited to leave russian ground. Indeed, this morning at 9.50 AM, Navalny was supposed to take off from Domodedovo in Moscow when the aeroport police asked him to step aside. Navalny was heading to Frankfort before going to Strasbourg and the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). The russian opponent was expected november 15th in the ECHR to be heard and to speak out about the recent arrests he went through. Again, this is the first time his passport is limited by the decision of the federal government of russia, under any motivations. Navalny called the 17 european judges to observe and take notes of what is going on, and to estimate the weight of the political decisions into the private affairs, the freedom of speech and of movement. This news is important it gives as well the temperature of the russian democracy functioning.
