Several thousand people marched through Hungary’s capital Sunday marking the fourth day of demonstrations against the new laws passed by the Hungarian government: some critics say that they are restricting workers’ rights andundermining democracy. The demonstrations were organized by the leftistopposition, student groups and citizens. Something never seen before since Mr.Orban came to power in 2010, all the political parties in opposition from theGreens to the far-right, including the socialists and the Liberals, marchedunder the same banner. Protesters waving Hungarian and European Union flags were about 15,000 according to press estimation.
